While Grand Cathay is the largest human empire found in the Warhammer world, they are relatively detached from the western side of the map and haven’t featured all that heavily in the tabletop game and lore building by Games Workshop… up until now. Her army, and those of Cathay in general, are geared more towards defensive fighting with flying ships, huge ornate cannons and rocket infantry. Miao Ying might not be the overarching ruler of Cathay, but wield the mystical powers of the Storm Dragon nonetheless. It’s a key defensible position, but even if Chaos does breach it and get to one of Cathay’s key cities, they will find Cathay’s armies ready to defeat them on their doorsteps.
